About Us
Come Skate with Us!
Swan City Ice Skaters is a USFS figure skating club and is a proud member of the Wisconsin Figure Skating Council. We skate at the Family Center in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, which is a first-rate indoor facility. We have an open membership policy and are self funded and self governed.

SCIS is proud to sponsor several Regional competitors each year! We have approx 175 skating members that range from first-time skaters to experts. The ages of our skaters range from three years to mature adults. A full range of lessons are offered for all ages. Our instructors are certified professionals. Our club has ice time from September to April on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday evenings during which we have three teaching sessions in each year and one session dedicated to our year end ice show. We also offer spring and summer contracted ice and classes during which time we have ice time from Sunday through Friday. Our rink has ice from early June to the end of April.

In addition to individual instruction, our club sponsors 4 synchronized skating teams.  Our 2014-15 teams consist of a Beginner, Pre Juvenile, Open Juvenile, Novice and Intermediate teams. The teams will compete at the Kalamazoo Kickoff, Dr. Porter Skating Classic, Foot of the Lake Synchronized Skating competition, Midwestern Synchronized Skating Championships, SynchroIllinios and Swan Synchro Skate.
Swan City Ice Skaters is primarily a volunteer-run organization. This keeps our fees reasonable compared to other ice skating clubs. Our programs, facilities and instruction are first rate.
